These terms apply to all equipment rentals and services provided by Event Wave. By confirming a booking, you agree to these terms.
Bookings and quotes
- Prices on the website and brochure are indicative per-day rates (unless stated otherwise, e.g. per sq.ft or per 5 hours) and are negotiable. The final price is confirmed by our team in writing or on WhatsApp.
- A booking is confirmed only after we receive the agreed advance payment.
- Availability is subject to stock on the event date.
Payment
- An advance is required to block the equipment; the balance is payable before or on the event day unless agreed otherwise.
- Transportation, delivery and labour charges are billed separately unless included in the quote.
- Applicable taxes are charged as per law.
Delivery, setup and pickup
- The client must provide safe access to the venue, a stable power supply and any venue permissions required.
- Projectors can be self-collected from our office; delivery is charged extra.
- Extra hours or days beyond the booked period are charged additionally.
Care of equipment
- Equipment remains the property of Event Wave at all times.
- The client is responsible for any loss, theft or damage caused by misuse, weather exposure, power fluctuation from the venue supply or handling by unauthorised persons during the rental period, and will pay repair or replacement costs.
- Only our technicians or authorised staff may operate, move or dismantle equipment unless agreed in advance.
Liability
Our liability for any claim is limited to the rental amount paid for the affected equipment. We are not responsible for losses caused by events beyond our control such as weather, power failure at the venue, government restrictions or force majeure.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
